French tennis player Guillaume Rufin strongly dominated over the high ranked tennis proficient Leonardo Mayer in the semi final round of the 2012 Copa Agco Cordoba. Rufin amalgamated his win with 6-4, 6-1 at Villa Allende in Argentina in just 1 hr 22 minutes on Saturday evening.
The two tennis stars came across each other in 2010 where they played against each other at the hard court in YS Open. In spite of his not so great rank, Rufin showed is remarkable performance against Mayer by jolting down a score of 2-6, 7-6, 7-6, 6-1.
Rufin started the first set hilariously by holding primary serve regardless of the pressure created by the higher ranked French professional. Both the players gave each other a hard competition. The score line rose for three times till the eighth game.
Mayer grabbed 42 percent of the serves by converting nine of the first 13 and 10 of second 18 delivery points.
In the second set, Rufin held the initial serve and desperately drew blood once again displaying his capability to lock the set. He terrifically rattled down the entire game from the hand of Mayer and won the match.
